ABOUT Egg cheese sandwich RECIPE

This is an easy snack made of bread, eggs and cheese. A tasty one, which kids like to have as a breakfast or evening snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bread 2 slices
  2. Cheese 2 slices
  3. Eggs 4
  4. Onion 1,chopped
  5. Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Coriander leaves 3tbsp,chopped
  7. Salt
  8. Ghee or oil. 2tbsp


  1. Remove the edges of the bread slices and toast them on a pan,lightly. Keep aside. you can add some ghee, if preferred.
  2. Beat 2 eggs, add 1/2 onion,1 1/2 tbsp of coriander leaves,half of chilli powder and salt.
  3. Heat a big pan with 1tbsp of ghee or oil, add the egg mixture, spread it,make it as big as possible.cook well on a slow fire. Make small holes in between ,cook well with one side. When ,done,place a slice of bread at one end,a slice of cheese on top. Fold the edges of egg omlette , then turn the bread with egg omlette,as,full omlette,covers the bread slice.cook for some more time and remove.
  4. Repeat the same process with the other bread ,egg mixture and cheese.
  5. Cut into 2 pieces. Serve hot.
