Spinach is very rich in iron and nutrients. So make this delightful dish with spinach and paneer to be served with some naans.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. One bundle spinach
  2. Paneer - 500 gm
  3. Onions [chopped] - 1
  4. Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  6. Green chilly - 2
  7. Ghee
  8. Cashew nuts - 10
  9. Salt
  10. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash, cut and blanch the spinach in hot water. While that is being done, heat a pan with some oil. Add the finely chopped onion, saute fore few minutes and then add the ginger garlic paste.
  2. Now add the tomato puree, salt and green chillies. cook till the tomato is done. Add this tadka to the blanched spinach. mix and mash/blend them well. Add some cream as well and give it a mix.
  3. Now dice the paneer into cubes, fry them in a hot pan with some oil. now arrange these fried paneer on a serving platter, pour the cooked green puree over it and serve.
