Ingredients to make Zullus TAVA Swiss roll

  • 2egg at room temp
  • 2tbsp honey or sugar powder
  • Vanilla essence 3-4drops or 1/4tsp cardamom powder
  • salt a pinch
  • 4tbsp maida(a.p.f)
  • For Filling :
  • 1/2cup icing sugar
  • 2tbsp butter at room temp
  • If require add 1 tbsp milk to mix butter and icing sugar

How to make Zullus TAVA Swiss roll

  1. Crack both eggs in a deep bowl , whip with hand mixer for 30sec
  2. Now add 2tbsp honey ,vanilla essence , 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder 4 tbsp flour ,Salt a pinch.
  3. Whip with hand mixer, don't over mix
  4. Now grease a non stick heavy bottom tava pour all the batter cover the lid
  5. Flame should be low otherwise it will burn check in between if perfect brown color has come , from top it is not done , you can flip the pan cake to other side just for 20 to 30 sec
  6. Keep it aside to cool for 10min
  7. Now make filling by mixing icing sugar and butter if it is dry add 1tbsp milk and for color add 2 drops liquid ready made color or little strawberry or apple jam I used homemade beetroot color
  8. Now roll pan cake with the help of paper towel Now wrap this roll in aluminium foil or butter paper , & keep it inside a refrigerator for 5-10min
  9. Take out aluminium wrap ,cut Swiss roll carefully , you will get 6-7 Swiss roll
  10. Enjoy with ur family for evening snack with coffee

My Tip:

Don't over mix after adding flour, don't use too much butter for freezing, whip properly eggs other wise it will not be soft
