Jamun Trifle

Ingredients to make Jamun Trifle

  • Fresh cream-100ml
  • Custard powder3-4 tbsp
  • Milk 150ml
  • Condensed milk -as per taste
  • Instant gulab Jamun-2-3 balls cut into small squares
  • Sponge cake- 2-3 sliced
  • Sliced almonds
  • Sliced pistachios

How to make Jamun Trifle

  1. For making custard First heat the milk
  2. Take 2 tbsp of custard and dissolve it in small quantity of milk and kept aside Add the prepared custard mixture into the boiled milk (Simmer the flame and add custard)
  3. Switch off the Flame and Allow it to cool. Refrigerate for sometime
  4. For cream: Whip the cream till it forms peak
  5. Add the condensed milk and small drops of vanilla extract and blend well
  6. Add sliced nuts into the cream and set in the Fridge
  7. Assembling: First soak the cake slices with sugar syrup from Jamun
  8. To that add chilled custard
  9. Add some sliced nuts
  10. Add Gulab Jamun squares
  11. Then Add Cream mixture upon the Nuts coating
  12. Add some Nuts coat again.
  13. Top with sliced Jamun
  14. Refrigerate and serve chilled
