  • 4 large potatoes grated
  • 2 large onions sliced very fine
  • 2 eggs
  • salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 green chillies chopped finely
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

How to make Hash brown (desi style)

  1. Great the potatoes and wash them well with water to remove all the starch..
  2. Drain well through a strainer.
  3. In a bowl, take the potato. Mix salt, pepper , eggs , onions , green chillies , cornflour and mix well.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan to shallow fry the hash browns.
  5. Drop in the mixture with the help of a spoon. Fry till crisp and brown.
  6. Serve hot .
