Beetrot Rava Dumplings and Beetroot juice

Ingredients to make Beetrot Rava Dumplings and Beetroot juice

  • 250 gms Rava
  • 150 gms chana dal soaked for 3-4 hours 
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 spoon red chilli powder
  • 2 green chillies (make fine paste)
  • 3 beetroot chopped and make juice
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt as per taste

How to make Beetrot Rava Dumplings and Beetroot juice

  1. Firstly make a dough of Rava with the help of Beetroot juice. In rava add salt and make dough like roti dough and cover with muslin clothes and keep aside. Then make a fine paste of chana dal adding garlic. Now in bowl take Chana dal paste add salt, green chillies paste, red chilli, Turmeric powder and mix it nicely. Meanwhile in big vessels boil water.
  2. Now take dough and again knead it. After that take roti size dough and cut into heart shape through cutter and put in one heart one teaspoon Chana dal paste and another one put in it. Then with the help of fork press the sides. You make all hearts like this and put in that warm water vessels slowly slowly and boil them for 10 min. You also check with fork. After that you one by one bring out from warm water and let them cool and serve it.
  3. Take Beetroot juice, which you make and add salt and black pepper and serve it in glass.
