ABOUT Nutella Muffins RECIPE

Super delicious and moist muffins made with a double shot of Nutella.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 100 g butter, softened
  2. 2 by 3 cup sugar
  3. 2 Eggs
  4. 1 tsp Baking powder
  5. 14 tsp salt
  6. 1.5 cups all­ purpose flour
  7. 2 tsp butterscotch essence
  8. 12 cup milk
  9. Nutella for filling and frosting
  10. Chocolate chips for filling and decoration
  11. Rainbow sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and line a muffin tray with paper liners.
  2. Mix flour with salt and baking powder in a bowl
  3. In a second bowl, mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time as you keep mixing
  4. Now add the butterscotch essence and milk. Finally add the flour mixture and mix until all ingredients have been mixed well
  5. The batter should be light and fluffy. Fold in the cho chips and give it one last mix
  6. Scoop half of batter and evenly pour into the muffin liners (1 by 3 full). Now add a dollop of Nutella. Pour other half of the batter and again put 1 dollop of Nutella
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
  8. For final decoration, pour some Nutella in top of the muffin and spread evenly
  9. Add chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles
  10. Take a bite. I guarantee you won't be able to stop at one :)
