Ingredients to make Cinnamon Sugar Bread

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • To sprinkle on top:
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon powder

How to make Cinnamon Sugar Bread

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Also grease a loaf tin and keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon powder to sprinkle.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Then add the egg, milk and oil into the flour.
  4. Pour half the batter into the loaf tin, then sprinkle half the sugar-cinnamon mix. Now pour the rest of the batter on top, and sprinkle the remaining sugar-cinnamon mix on top.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with a hot cup of tea.
