ABOUT Mawa Sandwiched Oreo Pops..... RECIPE

Oreo,the most popular biscuits now in an all new avatar by me. Our very own mawa given a new definition by me by using it in the oreo biscuits in place of it's cream. Ravishingly beautiful treat to have it with your loved ones. It takes the excitement to an altogether next level. Let's party.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oreo biscuits pack 2 small
  2. Mawa/Khoya 1/2 cup (homemade microwave mawa)
  3. Sugar 1 tbsp
  4. Melted chocolate either dark or semisweet 1/2 cup
  5. Icecream sticks as required
  6. Chocolate sprinkles few
  7. Instant Microwave Mawa-
  8. Ghee 1 tbsp
  9. Milk 1 tbsp
  10. Milk powder 1/2 cup (measuring cup)

Instructions

  1. For Mawa -
  2. Microwave both ghee and milk for 15 or 30 secs.
  3. Take it out and stir in the milk powder until it is well mixed and lump free.
  4. Microwave for a minute. Instant mawa is ready to use.
  5. Assembling Oreo Pops -
  6. Remove the cream from all the oreo biscuits. Stuff them up with the mawa. Add in some sugar to the mawa before filling. Cover it up with another oreo and hence they become mawa sandwiched/centered oreos now.
  7. Don't forget to keep an icecream stick on the mawa before sandwiching it with another oreo biscuit. Make sure to wash the sticks and wipe them with a clean napkin.
  8. Melt the chocolate and dip these oreos one by one. After done, use some chocolate sprinkles for the final garnish and set these aside in the refrigerator to set.
  9. 20-30 mins are more than enough. Enjoy these mawa filled beauties with your loved ones.
