ABOUT Wholewheat Strawberry Orange Tea- Cake RECIPE

A beautiful tangy tea time winter cake

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Wholewheat 1/2 cup
  3. Baking powder 2 tsp
  4. Salt 1/4 tsp
  5. Sugar 1 cup
  6. Egg 3
  7. Yoghurt 3/4 cup
  8. Fresh orange juice 3/4 cup
  9. Orange zest 2 tsp
  10. Oil 1/2 cup
  11. Fresh strawberry chopped 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 175 degrees C
  2. Grease the baking pan with oil and sprinkle maida
  3. Sieve the dry ingredients
  4. Beat oil and sugar till creamy
  5. Add eggs one by one and then add vanilla essence
  6. Add all the ingredients and squeeze fresh orange juice
  7. Mix it lightly
  8. Add chopped strawberries
  9. Mix lightly and pour in a baking tin
  10. Bake for 4o to 45 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  11. Slice when cold
