ABOUT Moong Dal Laddoo RECIPE

Simple traditional sweet balls made of moong flour

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Yellow moong dal flour 1 cup
  2. Clarified butter (ghee) 1/3 cup
  3. Sugar powdered 3/4 cup or according to your taste as sweet you like
  4. Cardamom powder 1/6 tablespoon
  5. Milk 1 tablespoon
  6. Dry fruits chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a thick bottom pan heat ghee and add moong dal flour
  2. Keep stirring otherwise it will burn
  3. Roast it on low heat till it turns brown and a nice aroma comes
  4. Now switch off the Gas
  5. Immediately Sprinkle one tablespoon of milk. Keep stirring
  6. Let it cool
  7. When the mixture is lukewarm add powdered sugar and mix well. I used mixer for this purpose
  8. Add cardamom powder dry fruits of your choice and make small balls
