Ingredients to make Wholewheat cashew banana bread

  • Yellow banana medium sized 4
  • Neutral oil 2/3 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • baking soda 1 Tsp
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • cashew nuts chopped 2 Tbsp

How to make Wholewheat cashew banana bread

  1. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes
  2. Line a loaf tin with grease proof paper
  3. Peel and mash the bananas. Add in the oil and the sugar and whisk till smooth.
  4. Add in the whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. 
  5. Add in the cashews .Pour the mix into the prepared loaf tin.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove and thaw the cake. Unmould it carefully after about 20 minutes

My Tip:

The bread stays well in the refrigerator for around two weeks
