ABOUT Banoffee pie RECIPE

It is a dessert made from bananas, toffee and cream on a biscuit or pastry base.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 250 gms digestive biscuits
  2. 100 gms melted butter
  3. 3-4 bananas
  4. 1 can condensed milk
  5. 100 ml whipping cream
  6. Chocolate flakes for garnishing


  1. Take condensed milk tin and remove any outer covering. let it boil for around 2 hours without opening.
  2. Crush the biscuits nicely in food processor or with a rolling pin.
  3. Add melted butter to the crushed mixture and mix nicely till they resemble bread crumbs. Line a pie tin or spring form tin with biscuit butter mix and press nicely with hand or a spoon. Keep in the fridge for about 15 mins to set.
  4. Cut bananas into rounds and put on biscuit base. When condensed milk tin is cool, open it and spread the prepared toffee on bananas immediately. Refrigerate.
  5. Whip the cream and spread nicely on toffee. Give it a nice finish by sprinkling grated chocolate on top of cream.
  6. Keep in fridge for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
