Ingredients to make Raw mango sabji(kachi keri nu saak)

  • Raw mango 1 big size
  • potato 1 small size
  • Jaggery 3 tablespoons(depend upon sourness of mango)
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • clove 2-3
  • cinnamon stick-1
  • Black peppercorn 2-3
  • oil 2 tablespoons
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon

How to make Raw mango sabji(kachi keri nu saak)

  1. cut mango and potato into medium size cubes (you can remove skin of the mango if u want, l like it with skin)
  2. boil water in the vessel add salt and then mango and potato.
  3. cook them until soft .
  4. Now heat one pan add oil, when oil becomes hot add clove, black pepper, cinnamon and cumin.
  5. cook for a while or until you get the aroma of the spices.
  6. now drain boiled mango and potato and add into the oil and mix well.
  7. then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander, cumin powder, jaggery and mix well.
  8. cook for a while, the taste should be sweet and sour, so adjust sweetness according.
  9. if you want to add more sourness then you can also add water which we have used to boil mango.
  10. yummy tangy Raw mango sabji is ready to be serve, you can serve it with chapati, or bhakhri, it also goes well with rice.

My Tip:

Cut the potatoes into small pieces or boil it in another vessel .
