Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 1cup
  2. Curd 1cup
  3. Haldi
  4. Salt
  5. Hing
  6. Red chilli powder half tsp
  7. Cummin seeds
  8. Mustard seeds
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. Ginger paste half tsp
  11. Ghee or oil 1tsp
  12. For peas chilla---
  13. Besan half cup
  14. Peas boil and mashed 1 tbsp
  15. Salt
  16. Red chilli half spoon
  17. Water
  18. Oil for making chilla
  19. Coriander leaves and some peas for garnish


  1. Mix curd besan and water and whisk till remove lumps
  2. Add salt haldi and chilli
  3. Make batter for chills add Besan spices and water
  4. Take nonstick tawa and make small round chillas
  5. For tadka-
  6. Take ghee in a pan and add rai, jeera and hing
  7. When splutter add curry leaves and ginger paste
  8. Add peas and half cup water cook a while and add curd and besan mix
  9. Stir continuously and cool kadhi well
  10. Now in a serving dish pour kadhi and arrange chillas over it.
  11. Garnish with coriander and peas sprinkle some chilli powder
