Chicken Rogan Josh

Ingredients to make Chicken Rogan Josh

  • 1 chicken with bone
  • 5 tsp of oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli paste
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 150 ml yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

How to make Chicken Rogan Josh

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till soft and brown.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, cinnamon and cook for 2min.
  3. Add the chicken and salt and stir occasionally for 5 mins till the color changes.
  4. Add tomato puree and cook for 15 mins in low simmer. Add little water.
  5. Add yogurt for a creamy texture and heat for more 2 mins. Serve hot

My Tip:

Prepare it in middium flame.
