Maharastrian cuisine. Chopped cucumber tempered with few ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cucumber small 3 numbers
  2. Roasted groundnut powder 2 tablespoon
  3. Sugar 1 teaspoon
  4. Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
  5. Green chillies chopped 1 or 2 (as hot you like)
  6. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon
  7. Oil 1 teaspoon
  8. Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Asafoetida (hing) a pinch
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel off cucumbers.
  2. Chop them very finely
  3. Remove water from chopped cucumber by squeezing
  4. Add salt, sugar, lemon juice and roasted groundnut powder and chopped green chillies
  5. Mix well
  6. For tadka heat oil in tadka pan
  7. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafoetida
  8. When seeds splutter add this tadka to salad
  9. Mix well garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
