ABOUT Kanchipuram idli RECIPE

Mini Kanchipuram idlis can be served as snack which really have different taste as compared to our normal idli.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1. Idli batter- 1 bowl
  2. 2. Curd- 3 tbsp
  3. 3. Cashew nuts- 8 - 9(broken)
  4. 4. Salt as per taste
  5. 5. Green chillies- 1-2
  6. 6. Desi ghee- 1 tsp
  7. 7. Turmeric powder- A pinch

Instructions

  1. Take Idli batter in bowl and add curd into it. Mix it well.
  2. Now heat the pan and pour desi ghee .
  3. Add green chilli, cashewnut and saute it then add pinch of turmeric powder.
  4. Now pour the tempering into the curd mixed idli batter.
  5. Add salt and mix all things properly.
  6. Now pour the batter in the greased idli mould and steam it.
  7. After steaming take out the mould and let it cool down.
  8. Now demould the idlis and enjoy with coconut chutney or your favourite chutney.
