ABOUT Healthy Pomegranate Tomato Splash RECIPE

Enjoy cool, cool refreshing drink to beat the heat. Tomatoes contain the antioxidant, lycopene which helps prevent body cell from being damaged. Pomegranate and orange are rich in vitamin A and C which help to keep eyesight healthy and boost our immune system.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 pomegranate, peeled and deseeded
  2. 1 medium sized ripe tomato, sliced
  3. 1 large orange, peeled and deseeded
  4. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  5. 1 tsp sugar (optional)
  6. 1\2 tsp black salt
  7. 2 pinch chaat masala
  8. 1 cup Ice cubes or as required
  9. Fresh mint springs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the pomegranate seeds, orange, tomato slices and crushed ice in a blender or a juicer, blend them with some water.
  2. Strain through a fine-meshed sieve pressing the purée with the back of a large spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
  3. Add seasoning lemon juice, black salt, chaat masala to the collected juice and mix well.
  4. Serve over lots of ice cubes and garnish with a mint spring.
  5. Enjoy endlessly...
