Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1.5 lt yoghurt (from buffalo milk)
  2. 2 tbsp fresh ginger-garlic churned into a paste
  3. 5-6 chopped green chilies
  4. 1 chopped tomato
  5. 1 tbsp sendha namak
  6. 1 tbsp red chili powder
  7. 1/2 tbsp jaggery
  8. juice of 2 lemons
  9. 6 packs mushrooms (button/organic white) - cut into halves
  10. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  11. 2 bell peppers/capsicum
  12. 2 onions

Instructions

  1. for marination: Mix the yogurt with ginger-garlic paste, add green chilies - stir well.
  2. Add the spices (salt - jaggery - red chili powder) - stir well.
  3. Add the mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, onions and mix really well and let it stand for an hour.
  4. On a slow flame in a large wok, add the mustard oil and the marinated mushrooms - stir well and cook with a simmer on top.
  5. Allow it to stand for 20 minutes and stir - allow it to cool down a little and serve.

And the lemon is added at the end while frying?
