Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 4 tbs - Maida
  2. 2 tbs - Corn flour
  3. 1 - Cauliflower
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Black pepper to taste
  6. Oil for Deep frying
  7. 1 tbs - soy sauce
  8. Red chilli powder to taste
  9. For sauce : 3 tbs - Tomato ketchup
  10. 2tbs - Soy sauce
  11. 1tbs - Vinegar
  12. 1tbs - Green chilli sauce
  13. Ajinomoto (optional)
  14. 1 - Onion
  15. 1 - Capsicum
  16. 4 tbs - Spring onion green, chopped
  17. White pepper to taste
  18. 2 - Green chilli
  19. 1 tbsp - Ginger and garlic, finely chopped
  20. 2 tbsp - Oil for sauteing


  1. To make the sauce : In a pan add 2 tbs oil and heat, add and saute ginger and garlic then add green chilli and onion. When onions become translucent add the capsicum. Add salt, pepper, red chilli and saute.
  2. Add ajinomoto and all the sauces, saute it continuously on high flame.
  3. Add 1 cup Water and bring to a boil then make a slury of cornflour and water and add it in sauce. Mix and turn off the flame.
  4. Make a runny batter with cornflour, maida, pepper, salt, ajinomoto and 1 spoon of soy sauce.
  5. Dip cauliflower florets in batter and deep fry until it become crisp.
  6. Heat the sauce on low flame add cauliflower in it and give a nice stir. Make sure the sauce coats the cauliflower florets completely. Sprinkle some greens of spring onion.
  7. Serve it hot.
