ABOUT Paleo Chicken RECIPE

Paleo is an ancient diet which emphasizes on eating whole, real and nutritious food without any preservatives or processed ingredients to stay lean, strong and healthy. Some do call it a caveman's diet too. This recipe is a fantastic Paleo twist to chicken.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boneless chicken - 500 grams
  2. Red Yellow Bell peppers - 100 grams
  3. Baby spinach - 200 grams
  4. Garlic - 4 Cloves
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  8. Butter - 2 tablespoons
  9. Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  10. Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon
  11. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut boneless chicken into strips/cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, stir fry boneless chicken strips for 3-4 minutes till tender and keep it aside.
  3. Heat butter in a pan, add capsicum strips along with crushed garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add all the spices and mix.
  4. Now add chicken with chopped spinach and stir fry, mixing nicely till the spinach starts wilting.
  5. Check for seasoning and serve as an appetiser or a side dish.
