ABOUT Iced Golden Milk Latte RECIPE

Golden Milk also known as Turmeric Tea is a healthy cold / hot beverage recipe having a blend of spices, milk, and a touch of sweetener. The spices which are very similar to our very own Indian Chai are gently simmered, and their flavor incorporates into the milk. From there it’s just a choice between serving it hot or cold! Prepare the Golden Milk and store in the refrigerator for later use and consume within 1 week. Iced Golden Milk Latte is creamy, healthy and also carries some amazing medicinal properties.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups - Almond milk or Coconut milk
  2. 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  3. 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  4. 1/4 tsp - Ground ginger
  5. 4 tbsp - Honey or Maple syrup
  6. 1 tsp - Vanilla extract
  7. 2 cups - Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the milk, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, ground ginger, and black pepper in a saucepan.
  2. Set the sauce pan to heat on high and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Keep whisking frequently to avoid the mixture from sticking on the bottom. Once the milk starts to boil, lower the the heat for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat, and add in maple syrup or honey along with vanilla extract and whisk again.
  5. Cool the golden milk completely and later store in the fridge up to 1 week and serve chilled over handful of ice.
