Veg sizzler On Tawa

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Tikki:
  2. Mix vegetables chopped and blanched(cabbage,capsicum,cauliflower) 2 cup
  3. Boiled potatoes 11/2 cup
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  5. Ginger grated 2 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 2 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Cornflour 1/2 cup
  9. Green chilli chopped 2
  10. Oil for frying as required+2tsp extra
  11. Dry mango powder 2 tsp
  12. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  13. For Tomato sauce:
  14. Tomato puree 1 cup
  15. Ketchup 1 tbsp
  16. Oil 2 tsp
  17. Oregano 2 tsp
  18. Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  19. Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  20. Salt to taste
  21. For noodles:
  22. Boiled noodles 1/2 cup
  23. Capsicum 1/4 cup
  24. Cabbage 1/4 cup
  25. Spring onion 1/4 cup (take spring onion and separate white part and green part)
  26. Soya sauce 2 tsp
  27. Green chilli sauce 1 tsp
  28. Potato chopped and fry 1
  29. Salt to taste
  30. White pepper powder to taste
  31. For sizzler:
  32. Cabbage leaves 5-6
  33. Tomato 1
  34. Butter as per need
  35. Water for fire shots

Instructions

  1. For Tilki: Heat 2tsp oil and add cumin seeds and ginger, now add chopped veggies and saute them at high heat till the whole water gets absorbed.
  2. Now add chillies, red chilli powder coriander powder, dry mango powder, and salt and mix well.
  3. Cool it completely and then add potatoes mix well.
  4. Shape the mix into a form of Tikki coat with corn flour and deep fry, you can shallow fry it too
  5. For Tomato sauce: Heat oil in a pan and add tomato puree, add about 2 tbsp water, now add salt, chiili, pepper, oregano, ketchup and cook properly for about 5-7 minutes.
  6. For noodles: Heat oil in a pan, now add white part of spring onion and saute.
  7. Now add veggies capsicum, cabbage and saute for a while.
  8. Now add soya sauce, chilli sauce, pepper powder, Salt, fry potato,noodle and cook for about 2-3 minute on high flame, noodles ready.
  9. For sizzler: Take a non-stick pan and add about 1 spoon butter in it, saute tomato in it, put aside.
  10. Now arrange cabbage leaves, Pour some butter in sides and keep the flame high.
  11. Arrange Tikki and noodles, pour tomato sauce, put sauteed tomato on top and add more butter in sides.
  12. Now sprinkle some water from the top for fire shots.
  13. Serve hot.
