ABOUT Eggless Low Carb Cauliflower Breadsticks RECIPE

Eggless low Carb Cauliflower Breadsticks with herbs, garlic, and lots of  cheese atop a cauliflower breadsticks looks and tastes like cheesy bread. The key to making the low carb cauliflower breadsticks lightly crispy on the outside is squeezing as much moisture as possible out of the microwaved riced cauliflower. Surprisingly it's low in calories and carbs too! :smile: Give it a try.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Cauliflower, rice ( 1 small, cauliflower)
  2. Mozzarella Cheese, ½ cup, shredded
  3. Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup
  4. Flax seeds 1 tbsp
  5. Almond meal or flour 2 tbsp
  6. Garlic powder 1 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves 1 tbsp, chopped
  8. Oregano 2 tsp
  9. Salt 1 tsp
  10. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  11. Olive oil 1 tsp
  12. Red chilli flakes ½ tsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. To rice the cauliflower, cored it and broke it into florets, then I placed it into the grinder or the bowl of my food processor and pulsed until it was the texture of rice, remove riced cauliflower from grinder, microwave for 2 minutes and place it into the cloth, to remove water.
  2. The key to making the low carb cauliflower breadsticks lightly crispy on the outside is squeezing as much moisture as possible out of the microwaved riced cauliflower, don’t skip this critical step, because this prevents the breadsticks from getting soggy.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the riced cauliflower, shredded Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, flax seeds and almond flour mixture, garlic powder, oregano, coriander leaves, chilli flakes, salt, black pepper and olive oil until combined and holds together.
  4. Now, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread out into a rectangle shape thick, preheat oven to 350°F and Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and top with shredded Mozzarella cheese and return to oven and now broil until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  6. Cool about 10 minutes and cut into 'breadsticks'. Garnish with fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese. Serve with your favorite Red Sauce and here Eggless Cauliflower Breadsticks are ready to serve. Enjoy.!!!
