ABOUT Agar-Agar Nutty Milk Cake RECIPE

Super easy and yummy dessert that can be prepared on any occasion or even festivals. It tastes so very delicious. It can be made even for kids birthday parties too. Something different and unique too. Addition of nuts make it more gorgeous. Looks spectacular with the nutty topping. Also creamy and rich due to the condensed milk and fresh cream added to it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Full fat milk 1 litre
  2. Milk powder 5 tablespoon
  3. Condensed milk 1 cup
  4. Sugar 1 cup (optional if using condensed milk)
  5. Fresh cream 1 cup
  6. Mixed nuts slivered 1/2 cup
  7. Agar agar powder 2 tablespoon
  8. Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Nutmeg powder 1/4th teaspoon
  10. Water 5 tablespoon


  1. Bring milk to a rolling boil adding in the milk powder.
  2. Simmer it for atleast 10 minutes.
  3. Now add the condensed milk and the spices.
  4. Add in the mixed nuts too.
  5. As a final step, boil agar agar powder in about 5 tablespoons of water after mixing it well.
  6. As soon as it starts boiling, switch off the flame and add it to the milk.
  7. Strain it while adding so that no strand is left if you are using strands.
  8. Mix it well and pour this in a well greased cake pan or on to an aluminium foil lined dish of your choice of any shape.
  9. If aluminium foil is used, take care to bring down the milk to room temperature before pouring.
  10. The final step is that of refrigerating it.
  11. Refrigerate it for an hour or two before serving.
  12. Serve it chilled to your family or guests.
