ABOUT Mango Kheer RECIPE

Mango kheer is an Indian style mango rice pudding which is naturally rich, smooth, creamy and perfect as dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Milk - 2cups
  2. Rice - 2tablespoon
  3. Saffron - 2/3strands
  4. Cardamon powder - 1 pinch
  5. Sugar - 1/4cup or as per taste
  6. Mango puree - 1cup
  7. Ripe mango slices - For garnishing
  8. Almonds and Pistachios - for garnishing

Instructions

  1. 1- Add the milk to heavy bottom pan and heat it.
  2. 2-Wash the rice and ground the rice coarsely.
  3. 3- Once the milk it hot add the grounded rice to it saffron and cardamon powder and cook it until the rice are done.
  4. 4- Once the rice is cooked add sugar to it and mix it till the sugar dissolves completely.
  5. 5- Turn off the flame let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
  6. 6- Than add mango puree to it mix it well.
  7. 7- Finally garnish it with mango slices, almonds and pistachios.
  8. 8- Keep it in refrigerator and remove it just before serving.
