ABOUT Sweet Ragi Porridge RECIPE

It can be consumed once in a day either sour or sweet porridge by entire family right from infants to adults.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. milk - 1 and half cup
  2. water - 1 cup
  3. ragi powder - 4-5 teaspoon
  4. sugar - 5 teaspoon
  5. cardamom powder - pinch
  6. ghee - 1 teaspoon roasted
  7. cashews and raisins - few ( optional)


  1. Pour boiled milk and water in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add ragi powder and mix well. Let it boil on a medium flame. Stir continuously for 5- 7 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well. Switch off the flame.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon ghee or ghee roasted nuts and raisins( optional).
  5. Yummy sweet ragi porridge is ready. Serve warm or chilled.
