ABOUT Bhel Puri Pulav RECIPE

Yes you read it right..layers of rice , green chicken, mint & Imli chutney topped with Veggies ,bhel and sev.Served with mint soup.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. basmati rice 2 cup
  2. FOR GREEN CHICKEN: Chicken 1/2 kg
  3. Gg paste 1 tbsp
  4. Pepper little
  5. Green chutney 4 to 5 tsp
  6. For green chutney : handful of mint leaves
  7. 2 handfuls coriander leaves
  8. 2 garlic pods
  9. 1 green chillies
  10. Zeera pwdr
  11. 1/2 Lemon juice
  12. Imli chutney
  13. Tamarind pulp (1 hand ful tamarind soaked in warm water)
  14. Jaggery acc to sweatness
  15. 10 seadless dates
  16. Red chillie pwdr 1 tsp
  17. MINT SOUP: Handful of Mint
  18. 1 garlic
  19. 1 green chillie
  20. 1 packet maggic coconut milk pwdr
  21. Zeera 1/2 tsp
  22. Curry leaves few
  23. 2 potatoes boiled and cut into cubes
  24. 1 TOMATO CHOPPED
  25. Hand ful of coriander leaves chopped finely
  26. 1 bunch spring onion chopped finely
  27. juice of lemon 1
  28. Bhel mix 1/2 cup
  29. Nylon sev

Instructions

  1. Boil the rice as regular and keep aside
  2. FOR IMLI CHUTNEY
  3. Take the pulp,add jaggery ,dates ,salt and chillie pwder and let it boil till thick
  4. GREEN CHUTNEY
  5. Grind mint leaves,coriander leaves,garlic pods,green chilies, salt ,zeera pwdr and lemon juice
  6. CHUTNEY CHICKEN
  7. Marinate the chicken with giner garlic paste salt pepper green chillies and chutney,for atleast an hour
  8. Leave some chutney for layering
  9. Take oil add 1 garlic pod and fry add the marinated chicken , fry and cook till done
  10. FOR THE SOUP
  11. Grind the mint leaves with garlic,salt,zeera pwdr,lemon juice
  12. Take oil add the garlic,whole zeera ,curry leaves and add the chutney
  13. Add 1 packet coconut milk(dissolve in water)
  14. Let it boil for 10 mins
  15. Chop the tomatoes, spring onion,mint & coriander leaves , boiled potatoes & lemon juice to taste
  16. LAYERS
  17. Take a deep dish,add rice
  18. Add the chicken and the green chutney
  19. Add the imli chutney
  20. Add all the choped vegetables one at a time add lemon juice
  21. Garniah with bhel mix and sev
  22. Mix and serve with mint soup
  23. Mix and serve
