ABOUT Mango Mawa Gehvar RECIPE

Ghewar is a traditional rajasthani sweet, so this is a delicious and interesting variety of the same by the addition of mangoes to it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2tbsp desi ghee
  2. 5-6pcs ice cubes
  3. 150gm all purpose flour
  4. 50ml full cream milk
  5. 1cup water
  6. For garnish -
  7. 1cup mango rabri
  8. Some almonds and pistachio
  9. For sugar syrup -
  10. 100gm sugar
  11. 1cup water

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add desi ghee and ice cubes beat it very well.
  2. Mixture looks like a cream.
  3. Add all purpose flour ,milk, water for running consistency.
  4. Then put the kadahi on gas heat ghee then put iron ring for shape of gehvar .
  5. Another pan add sugar and water for sugar syrup.
  6. Boil it.
  7. Pour the batter from 2feet height in kadahi.
  8. Move aside a fried batter from center.
  9. Repeat this process 5-6times for a ghevar.
  10. Let the extra ghee come out.
  11. Now spread sugar syrup on it.
  12. Now spread mango rabri on it.
  13. Garnish with almonds and pistachio.
