Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. wonton wrappers 24
  2. pad thai noodles 200g
  3. brown sugar 2tbs
  4. soy sauce 2tbs
  5. Fish sauce 1tbs
  6. Fresh lime juice 2tbs
  7. Chili garlic sauce 1tbs
  8. Canola oil 3tbs
  9. scallions finely sliced 2
  10. large shrimp 24
  11. cloves garlic minced 5
  12. fresh bean sprouts 1 cup
  13. cup unsalted peanuts 1/4cup
  14. chopped * fresh cilantro for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly oil each side of the wonton wrappers, and carefully press them into each muffin tin. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes, until crispy and slightly browned. Set aside.
  2. Cook the noodles according to the package, then drain. Set aside. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and chili paste.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the oil to the pan. Add the scallions, shrimp and minced garlic. Stir-fry roughly 2 minutes, until shrimp is done. Add the cooked noodles and stir to toss.
  4. Add the sauce and toss to combine. Using tongs, place a small amount of the pad Thai inside each wonton cup. Nestle a single shrimp in the pad Thai nest, and garnish with bean sprouts and peanuts. Cilantro
