This beautiful cake is made without eggs but made yummy with cocoa and vanilla flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup maida
  2. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  3. 1/4 tsp soda powder
  4. 1/2 cup caster sugar
  5. 1/2 cup milk powder
  6. 1/2 cup oil or butter
  7. 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  9. 1/2 cup fresh soda water


  1. Mix the maida, soda powder and baking powder together in a bowl. Now take another bowl and add the caster sugar, milk powder, oil and soda water together.
  2. Beat it for 5 minutes in one direction properly. Now add in the maida mixture and mix gently with your hands. Then divide this batter in 2 parts.
  3. Make one part in white, and add the cocoa powder in the second part. Take a cake tin and grease it, then pour a little part of the white batter and then cocoa brown batter. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
  4. Bake this cake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees celsius after preheating the oven.
  5. Once cooked, let it cool down then cut it into beautiful slices.
  6. Serve warm to enjoy!
