ABOUT Corn Kheer RECIPE

Bhutte ki Kheer, that is a kheer made with corns, a perfect dessert for all party occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Sweet corn or Baby corn 4-5
  2. Milk full cream 1 ltr
  3. Pista 2 tsp
  4. Sugar 100 gm
  5. Ghee 2 tsp
  6. Cashewnut 20
  7. Raisins 2 tsp
  8. Almonds 15
  9. Cardamom 4-5 powdered
  10. Saffron 15-20 threads
  11. Cream to use for serving

Instructions

  1. Wash and grate the corn.Cut dryfruits,powder the cardamom seeds and soak saffron in milk.
  2. Keep pan on gas and add ghee.Put the corn pulp and roast on slow flame till colour changes slightly.
  3. Put milk in another pan and boil on other gas simultaneously.
  4. Now add boiled milk to roasted corn mixture and stir continuously to prevent sticking at bottom.Cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
  5. Add dry fruits and cook for 4 minutes.Then add saffron milk and sugar.cook for 2 minutes and switch off gas.You can serve this kheer hot or chilled also.Top with cream and dry fruits while serving.
