Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 500 gms chicken
  2. 1 1/2 cup curd
  3. 1 large sliced onion
  4. 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic paste
  5. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  6. 2 tbsp coriander powder
  7. 1 tea spoon cumin powder
  8. 1 tea spoon Turmeric powder
  9. 1 tea spoon garam masala powder
  10. 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  11. Salt to taste
  12. 1/2 cup oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with dahi (yogurt) , garam masala turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt.
  2. Marinate the chicken for an hour
  3. After one hour, great up 3 to 4 tbsp of oil in a kadhai, add thin sliced onions and fry them until they turned golden brown.
  4. Add ginger & garlic paste and cook on low flame until the raw smell completely gone.
  5. Now add the marinated chicken and mix it well. Cook the chicken until it was well cooked ( keep mixing it occasionally to prevent masalas from getting burnt)
  6. If masala becomes too thick add 1 cup water and bring it to boil
  7. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the cook top.
  8. Serve dahi chicken with hot Roti's.
