An easy and simple dessert that can be made quickly with simple ingredients readily available at home.

Semolina Pudding

Ingredients to make Semolina Pudding

  • 1/2 cup semolina (rava)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2-3 drops food colour
  • almonds for garnishing

How to make Semolina Pudding

  1. In a pan heat ghee. Once hot add semolina and fry till it gives out a nice aroma.
  2. Take off the stove. Add water and milk stirring continuously to ensure no lumps are formed. Add sugar and food colour.
  3. Keep on the stove again and keep stirring till it thickens.
  4. Grease small bowls with oil. Place an almond or two in it.
  5. Scoop the thickened semolina mix into prepared bowls and allow to set.
  6. Invert bowl onto a plate and serve.

My Tip:

Can be served hot. But tastes best when chilled.
