Honey pear almond torte is a cake made with almonds, pear pulp and honey. A perfect combination of health and divine flavor. Seasonal produce and fresh ingredients always create magic.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Pear 3 small
  2. Whole-wheat flour 1 cup
  3. honey 1/2 cup
  4. Roasted salted almonds 1 cup
  5. walnuts 1/4 cup
  6. sugar 1/4 cup
  7. eggs 4 small
  8. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  9. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  10. baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  11. nutmeg powder 1/4 teaspoon
  12. white chocolate chips 1/4 cup


  1. Line a 8 inch baking pan. Pre- heat the oven at 165 degrees c .
  2. Separate the egg yolks and egg white
  3. Beat the egg whites till stiff peaks.
  4. Mix together-egg yolks, baking powder, baking soda, pear pulp, vanilla essence.
  5. In a mixer attachment grind together: sugar, salted and roasted almonds and walnuts .
  6. Add this to the egg yolk mixture and mix well.
  7. Now, sieve the 1 cup whole wheat flour and then gently fold in the flour in the egg yolk mixture.
  8. In the end- Gently and gradually fold in the egg whites , 1 scoop at a time, without deflating the air in it.
  9. Pour the mixture in the cake pan and sprinkle the white chocolate chips over it.
  10. Bake for 55 minutes @ 165 degrees Celsius.
  11. Serve hot with cream fraiche or whipped cream or any ice cream of your choice
