ABOUT Besan nariyal barfi RECIPE

It is very simple and easy recipe, you can store it and eat whenever you want to eat any mithai.....or you can serve them to your guests.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Besan 1 and half cup
  2. Coconut grated 1 cup ( i used readymade nariyal kis from market)
  3. Ghee half cup
  4. Salt a pinch
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  6. Sugar 1 cup
  7. Milk half cup
  8. Silver foil 2
  9. Almond 8-10 (chopped)
  10. Pistachios (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take whole ghee in a wok and fry besan on low flame till it becomes golden brown in colour and gud aroma .Transfer fried besan in a another bowl.
  2. Then in same wok fry grated coconut just 1-2 min ...it should not change colour.Transfer in a same bowl.
  3. Mix both besan and coconut.
  4. Add cardamom powder and almonds and a pinch of salt in that mixture.
  5. Greas plate with ghee.
  6. Then in a same wok take half cup milk and add sugar in it....make one-string chashni.
  7. Transfer besan coconut mixture in chashni.mix it well.
  8. Pour this on a greased plate. tap it and smoothen the surface.
  9. Then lastly Decoration...either you may decorate it with chopped pistachios or you may use silver foil or both.(I used silver foil)
  10. Make cut marks of any barfi shape either square or diamond.
  11. Let it be cool for about two hrs.
  12. Your delicious and yummy barfi is ready.
