August flowers fritters are very tasty and loved by all. The flower is seasonal & it contains all the nutrients that makes body strong like calcium, iron. It reduces the fever as well as it has unique power to cure night blindness.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. August flower 10-12
  2. Gramflour 3 tbsp
  3. Rice flour 3 tbsp
  4. Ajwaain 1/2 tsp [carom seeds]
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  7. garlic paste 1 tsp
  8. Grated ginger 1 tsp
  9. Green chillies slits
  10. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. Take flowers discard stigma (Centre hard stem).
  2. Take a bowl put Gramflour, rice flour, salt, turmeric, ajwaain, ginger, garlic, green chillies.
  3. Make a smooth batter with the help of water.
  4. Take kadahi heat oil, after heating, dip the flower into batter.
  5. Deep fry all flowers, when they start to come up slowly turn over.
  6. Fry till it golden brown on both sides.
  7. Serve hot & crunchy fritters with tomato sauce.
