Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Basmati rice - 1.5 cup
  2. Jaggery - 1/2 cup
  3. Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
  4. Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak rice for three days.
  2. After 12 hours change the water.
  3. Rinse the soaked rice and allow to dry in a kitchen towel for 2 - 3 hours.
  4. Grind to a coarse powder.
  5. Melt the jaggery and add in the rice powder and also add 2 tbsp clarified butter and mix well.
  6. To make a dough,keep rest for 30 mins,
  7. Divide the dough in lemon size balls.
  8. Deep fry in medium flame until crispy and brown.
