Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 .5cup Maida/ All purpose flour
  2. 3/4 cup besan/ gram flour
  3. 1/2 cup suji/ Rava /semolina
  4. 1.5 cup powdered sugar or to taste
  5. 1 tsp cooking soda
  6. Elaichi powder 2 tsp or any flavour
  7. 1 cup and 2 tbs of ghee or clarified butter (Room temperature)
  8. Almond pistachios coarse powder for topping


  1. In a big plate or bowl add maida , besan, suji powdered sugar, elachi, baking soda and give a good mix until everything combined
  2. Add a cup of ghee and mix well
  3. Don't knead too much.Transfer the dough to cling sheet. Keep it in fridge for 1/2 to 1 hour
  4. Now take out of fridge after 1 hr ..let stands for 10 mins
  5. Take a small round size ball and gently press with your palm and arrange it in the baking tray
  6. Sprinkle some chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake at 180 c at preheated oven for 20 mins or till done.
  8. Enjoy this soft delicious melt in mouth Nankatai with tea or coffee
