Biscotti are double baked crunchy treats that goes perfect with your hot beverages! These biscottis are crisp , perfectly sweet and loaded with dried roasted nuts like almond and hazelnuts. Cinnamon adds to its beautiful flavour profile..a treat to serve your guests and perfect for gifting also.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida 130 grams
  2. Coco powder 3 tablespoon
  3. Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
  4. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Caster sugar 100 grams
  6. Butter/oil 50 ml
  7. Milk 4 tablespoon
  8. Lime juice 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Roasted hazelnuts chopped 2-3 tablespoon
  10. Roasted almonds chopped 2-3 tablespoon
  11. Chocolate chips 2 tablespoon
  12. Icing sugar for dusting
  13. Cinnamon powder 2 tsp for dusting

Instructions

  1. Sieve all dry ingredients
  2. Mix wet ingredients and add caster sugar to it
  3. Keep ready roasted and chopped nuts
  4. Fold in dry mix to wet and make a dough
  5. Add 2 to 3 tablespoon milk if dough seems dry
  6. Make two halves from the dough and shape them like logs. Bake them in preheated oven at 180 for 18 to 20 minutes
  7. Let them cool a little. Then using a sharp knife cut long biscuits from them. Sprinkle icing sugar and cinnamon powder on them
  8. Arrange on baking tray and bake again at 180 for further 15 minutes till they turn crispy
