Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. maida 4 cups
  2. sooji 1 tablespoon
  3. Ajwain 1 teaspoon
  4. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  5. salt to taste
  6. buttermilk 1 to 2 cups
  7. oil for deep frying and little for kneading dough


  1. In a mixing bowl take maida, suji, salt, ajwain, black pepper powder and 1 to 2 tablespoon of oil
  2. Mix all ingredients well and knead a tight dough using little butter milk and keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes
  3. Take tennis ball size dough and roll a big chapati
  4. Cut it in your desired shape
  5. Deep fry in hot oil on low heat
  6. Keep stirring consistently and deep fry till golden brown in colour
  7. Ready for serving.
