Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wholewheat flour 1 cup
  2. Flour 2 cups
  3. Butter 50 grams
  4. Sugar 1/3 cup
  5. Egg 1
  6. Milk 3/4 cup
  7. Yeast 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Sugar 1 tablespoon
  9. FILLING
  10. Brown sugar 2 tablespoon
  11. Coffee powder 2 teaspoon
  12. Butter 50 grams

Instructions

  1. FOR THE YEAST
  2. Warm the milk for 40 seconds in microwave, add the sugar and yeast.Beat well and cover it to rise.
  3. May take 5 to 10 minutes
  4. DOUGH
  5. Take the flours.Seive them.Add egg and melted butter.
  6. Add the yeast mix and make a dough
  7. If the dough is sticky add little flour
  8. Knead the dough for 7 to 10mins
  9. Roll into a ball.oil it and let it rise till it doubles
  10. Flour the surface of the counter and roll the dough.
  11. Remove the air bubbles and flatten it
  12. Apply butter all over
  13. Sprinkle the brown sugar and coffee pwdr
  14. Roll the dough in roundels
  15. Place these on a baking tray leaving little space in between for them to rise
  16. Let it rise for another 30 mins
  17. Brush these rolls with milk
  18. Bake at 180 degrees centigrade preheated oven for 23 minutes
  19. Remove and brush with milk once again
  20. Serve warm with fresh cream
  21. No need to add salt if using salted butter.
