Breaded Fish Fillets

Ingredients to make Breaded Fish Fillets

  • 2 fish fillets, cut into 2 pieces lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make Breaded Fish Fillets

  1. Gently pat dry these fish fillets and cut them into 2 pieces lengthwise. Season them with salt and pepper as per taste.
  2. Take 3 small bowls, one for the flour, one for the egg, and one for the bread crumbs. Beat the egg gently in the small bowl.
  3. Take one fish piece at a time, first dip it in the flour, then in the egg. Once the excess egg drips off, then only coat the fish in the bread crumbs. Coat both the sides with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan on a medium flame.
  5. Sauté the fish for 3-5 minutes on each side till the bread crumb coating turns into a beautiful golden colour. Adjust the salt and pepper as per taste.
  6. Serve instantly to enjoy it at its best.
