Pan fried momos

Ingredients to make Pan fried momos

  • For momos filling
  • 1 cup chicken mince
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp light soya sauce
  • For momo covering
  • 3/ 4 cup maida
  • Punch of salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Warm water ad required
  • For stir frying
  • 3 florets broccoli blanced
  • 1 carrot diagonally cut and balanced
  • 1/4 th each of Yellow green and red capsicum
  • 3 baby corn cut and blanched
  • 1 tbsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp light soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander finely chopped

How to make Pan fried momos

  1. First knead minis dough by combining all ingredients of dough and let it test for 30 mins
  2. Mix all the ingredients of filling
  3. Roll thin pooris of rested dough.
  4. Stuff filling and give it shape of momos
  5. Heat momo utensil by adding water
  6. Cook momos for 12 -15 mins
  7. For stir frying
  8. Niw for Blanching brocolli,baby corn,and carrot heat water.when it reaches boiling point add caddies and salt. AFTER 2 MINS drain water and refresh it with cold water.
  9. Now heat a pan. Add oil to it. Let it heat then add finely chopped garlic.
  10. Now add red yellow and green capsicum.
  11. Add other blanched veggies
  12. Then add steamed momos and soya sauce and sweet chilli sauce.Stir fry on high flame. Also add salt pepper and red chilli flakes
  13. Finish by adding coriander leaves .
  14. Top it with sezwan sauce and toasted sesame seeds
  15. Serve it in a serving platter.

My Tip:

Dont overcook veggies .keep it crunchy.Stir fry on high flame.
