ABOUT Bathua Garlic Raita RECIPE

Raita is very simple and easy side dish, served with any type of biryani, pulav or simple dal chawal.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. curd 1/2 kg
  2. Bathua leaves wash,boiled and pureed - 1/2 cup
  3. garlic leaves paste 1 tbsp
  4. salt to taste
  5. Roasted cumin powder 2 tsp+ 1/4 tsp
  6. Red chili powder 1 tsp+ 1/8 tsp
  7. Black salt 1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped green chili 1 tsp
  9. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Beat the curd till smooth, Add bathua and garlic green paste, Mix it well.
  2. Now add salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, green chili and black salt. Mix well.
  3. Cool and garnish with cumin powder, red chili powder and coriander leaves. Serve with Pulao/Biryani
