Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Yellow peas - 1/2 cup
  2. Garlic - 1, clove, finely chopped
  3. Ginger - 1 tsp, grated
  4. Tomato - 1, small, finely chopped
  5. To serve -
  6. Onion - 1, finely chopped
  7. Tamarind water- as per taste
  8. Green chili, 1 - finely chopped
  9. To Roast and Grind
  10. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  11. 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  12. 4 dry red chili

Instructions

  1. Roast all spices mentioned under roast and grind section for 2 minutes over low heat. Allow to cool and grind to fine powder
  2. Pressure cook peas with water, ginger, garlic, tomato, salt, turmeric until mushy
  3. Add boiled ghugni in serving bowls. Add onion, tamarind water, chili, prepared masala on top and serve
