Spinach Pomegranate Nuggets

Ingredients to make Spinach Pomegranate Nuggets

  • 2 cup spinach ,clean and finely chopped
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 green chili finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • oil for frying
  • 2 Tbsp pomegranate seeds

How to make Spinach Pomegranate Nuggets

  1. Stir fry spinach in a pan until it completely wilts and water evaporates
  2. Cool spinach and blend spinach with green chilies to fine paste
  3. Add 2 tbsp bread crumbs , 1 tsp Cornflour, salt, pepper and garlic powder to paste and mix well
  4. Shape mixture like balls and stuff pomegranate seeds in it. Seal and shape like nuggets
  5. Coat nuggets with remaining corn flour
  6. Make thin paste of flour in a bowl. Dip nuggets in paste and coat with remaining bread crumbs .
  7. Refrigerate nuggets for 30 minutes. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown
  8. Serve hot with spicy Schezwan sauce

My Tip:

Refrigerate nuggets for 30 minutes after coating with bread crumbs to prevent it from breaking.
