ABOUT Dal Mint Chutney RECIPE

It is very easy chutney that can be mixed with rice for quick lunch

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 tbsp Channa dal
  2. 1 tbsp Urad dal
  3. Hing
  4. Red chillies 3
  5. Coconut optional
  6. Pudina / Mint bunch
  7. Salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a kadai. Add 1 tsp Sesame oil. Add 2 tbsp Channa dal and 1 tbsp Urad dal. Gently roast them.
  2. Add hing and 3 red chillies
  3. Add rinsed fresh mint leaves. Saute for 2 minutes
  4. Add Salt. Cool the mixture
  5. You can add Coconut and Blend the mixture. Coconut is optional
  6. Mix chutney with Rice to make quick mint Rice
