Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Potato 3-4 medium size
  2. Corn flour 1-2 tablespoons
  3. Rice flour 1-2 tablespoons
  4. Flattened rice(poha) 2tablespoons
  5. Bread crumbs
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Grated ginger 2 tablespoons
  8. Green chili paste 1 tablespoons
  9. Chat masala/amchur powder 1-2 teaspoons
  10. Garam Masala 1 Teaspoons
  11. Coriander leaves
  12. Cumin seeds 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Steam potatoes until cooked well and keep in a refrigerator for an hour.
  2. Soak flattened rice in a water for 10mins drain well.
  3. After one hour take potatoes grate it in a bowl,add flattened rice,corn flour,rice flour,ginger,salt ,cumin seeds (1tablespoons),chat masala,green chilies,garam masala powder and mix everything well,the mixture should be little hard like a dough.
  4. Take bread crumbs and add remaining cumin seeds in it ,mix well.
  5. Apply little oil on your palm,make all the tikkis,cover them with a bread crumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry all the tikkis,serve hot with tamarind chutney ,green chutney or tomato catch-up.
